Burman is a photographer born in India in the early 80s. He has his roots in a family of sculptors and painters . Naturally, art has always been a priority in Burman’s approach to photography. After graduating from the Brooks Institute of Photography in California in 2000, Burman moved to New York and worked as an assistant for Steven Klein and Mark Seliger. He returned to India in 2008 and started collaborating with with prestigious brands, also with magazines such as Elle and Vogue to name a very few. He has a certain propensity to create unique stories and a vision of his own. Always on the move, Burman works between Paris, New York and Mumbai, constantly exploring new ideas, new places, drawing on the abundant inspirations of his Eastern and Western philosophies.

Burman est un photographe né en Inde au début des années 80. Il a ses racines dans une famille de sculpteurs et de peintres. Naturellement, l’art a toujours été une priorité dans l’approche Burman de la photographie. Après avoir obtenu son diplôme du Brooks Institute of Photography en Californie en 2000, Burman a déménagé à New York et a travaillé comme assistant pour Steven Klein et Mark Seliger. Il est retourné en Inde en 2008 et a commencé à collaborer avec des marques prestigieuses, notamment avec des magazines tels que Elle et Vogue, pour n'en nommer que quelques-uns. Il a une certaine propension à créer des histoires uniques et une vision de lui-même. Burman travaille toujours entre Paris, New York et Mumbai, explorant sans cesse de nouvelles idées, de nouveaux lieux, en puisant dans les abondantes inspirations de ses philosophies orientales et occidentales.
